E-Learning Designer (Hybrid)

52 Limited is a digital staffing agency with an industry-leading focus on the creative + technology space. We exclusively place tech and creative talent in direct-hire, contract-to-hire, and contract roles with our clients in Portland, Seattle, Austin and San Francisco.

We are looking for a contract-to-hire E-Learning Designer for our LMS software client in Portland, Oregon. Successful applicants need strong graphic design and presentation design skills. A portfolio representing examples of work created for digital marketing and/or online training is required for consideration. This is a hybrid role, requiring a mix of in-office and remote work. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Portland, Oregon area to be considered.


  • Collaborate as part of a design team; working alongside instructional designers, other graphic designers, and project managers to meet project deadlines
  • Interpret and implement course design based on storyboard content and customer brand guidelines
  • Manage work across multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Organize and manage assets from a variety of sources
  • Demonstrate visual understanding with high attention to detail
  • Participate in reviews of all work for quality assurance
  • At least two years developing digital marketing collateral in the form of PowerPoints, PDFs, and/or online learning
  • Working knowledge of design principles for media applications
  • Working knowledge of Articulate Storyline 360 or similar course authoring tools is a plus
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools, including PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • The ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
  • Illustration, animation, and video production skills are a plus
  • A basic understanding of adult eLearning theory, instructional design standards, training media, and/or methodologies is a plus
