Social Media Manager (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can hit the ground running and continue moving this brand forward. The goal of this role is to achieve a higher level of customer engagement and intimacy while also increasing website traffic and revenue. This is a full time hybrid role for an early education/wellness company based in Vancouver, WA. 


Social media is a key component of this business, and as Social Media Manager with this client, your aim will be to attract and interact with our virtual communities and network users. You will work under our Director of Brand Marketing to oversee content and strategy of our current platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn for all of this client’s owned channels while also keeping up with relevant emerging platforms. You will also be required to write tailored copy for each platform and bring an understanding of creative content and performance tracking.


This is a young company that moves fast and will need you to do the same. You will need to think strategically, pivot quickly, remain detail oriented, and have a love for social media and brand marketing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of all company’s social platforms (existing and emerging brand/campaign/founder’s unique handles on multiple platforms), from planning content, selecting creative, graphic design, writing copy, scheduling posts, and monitoring performance on each platform

  • Direct content creators and designers while also providing strategy decks and reporting on social media performance, directly addressing and working toward KPIs as outlined in the social media strategy

  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute high-level marketing strategy, and deliver a cohesive brand experience

  • Ability to create visual content for social media channels

  • Help maintain a robust multi-platform presence, integrating brand tone, voice and style throughout

  • Investigate, monitor and provide suggestions on relevant digital trends

 

Requirements

  • Understanding of current industry best practices for social media platforms

  • Strong working experience and proven success in Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter

  • Must have strong copywriting skills, specifically for social media post content, campaign copy, etc

  • Must have some graphic design experience for content creation

  • Extremely organized with clear communication skills

  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and solve problems under pressure

  • Strong desire to work in a start-up culture, with the ability to pivot direction quickly to keep up with the pace of the company’s growth while keeping a positive, team-first attitude
