We’re looking for a Senior Public Relations Account Manager for a niche public relations agency that serves education technology companies of all sizes—from startups to enterprise organizations.


They prioritize fun and celebrate wins while ensuring their clients receive outstanding service. Their agency is growing quickly, and they are looking for a Senior Public Relations Account Manager to support their clients with strategic guidance while also being able to effectively deliver on those strategies.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Agency experience navigating the demands of multiple projects and deadlines on any given day.

  • A proven track record of collaborating with and leading multiple people on projects with simultaneous deadlines.

  • The ability to seamlessly balance clients and contractors to ensure all of the work gets done on time and on budget.

  • Writing and media outreach experience to be able to step in to support execution.

  • Experience creating speaking proposals and award submissions.

  • Bonus points for experience in the education sector.

What the job entails:

  • Reporting to and working directly with the Director of Client Relations, you will go from brainstorming creative new ideas for one startup client to launching a new industry award for another company.

  • Drawing on your PR experience (education background a plus!), you’ll work together with our rock star team to lead the PR strategies and drive the execution and delivery of those strategies for our clients every day.

  • Pursue all available opportunities to secure client coverage-- national, regional, and education trade media -- that generates compelling opportunities to share their unique stories.

  • Develop content, including: case studies, blogs, press releases, op eds, and award submissions.)

  • You are serving as the co-leader of the day-to-day management of the agency, overseeing many employees and contractors.
