As the Marketing Portfolio Manager, you will expertly foster client relationships and develop data-driven marketing strategy for a variety of clients and projects, while building and maintaining relationships with our internal program and marketing teams, to help us continue our growth as a nimble, swift and impactful marketing agency.


Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Manage a portfolio of clients / accounts

  • Foster and build client relationships

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and intervene as necessary; Ensure CLEAResult Client Satisfaction Scores are favorable

  • Develop data-driven marketing plans in support of client goals; Ensure client goals are met

  • Partner with marketing account management team to shepherd projects from conception to completion

  • Drive campaign reviews and filter and translate client feedback

  • Travel to and attend in-person meetings as needed

  • Increase revenue and profitability through account growth, contract renewals and / or streamlined labor hour allocations

  • Business Development

  • Collaborate with business development, program teams and program directors to identify and grow opportunities within various territories

  • Collaborate with legal and business development teams in the review and execution of marketing-impacted contracts and scopes of work

  • Drive new business through proposal development and participation in client pitches

  • Travel to and attend in-person meetings as needed

  • Agency Leadership


Account Service

  • Manage an extended team of marketing account managers

  • Mentor and grow account team members

  • Facilitate project debriefs, ensuring that learnings are shared across broader marketing team

  • Ensure team utilization and workload meet agency requirements

  • Work with account management director to ensure teams are functioning in alignment with departmental operations and delivering the highest level of service

  • Cultivate relationships with internal cross-functional and program management teams; represent account service in a positive and professional manner


Financial Management

  • Support a portfolio of accounts to drive revenue

  • Responsible for management of annual client marketing budgets, as well as identifying up-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue

  • Responsible for accurately forecasting and delivering on projected client revenue in relation to agency labor hours and direct costs

  • Assists in meeting agency KPIs and revenue goals

  • Understands and interprets financial results relative to P&L and revenue

  • Collaborates with financial operations and project management teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, mid-month reporting, and Adaptive forecasting needs

  • Attends regional finance meetings as needed

  • Manages / minimizes marketing accounts receivable

Requirements

  • Passionate account service professional

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising or communications preferred

  • Ability to drive new business

  • 8 – 10+ years’ in-house marketing and/or agency experience

  • 5+ years people management

  • Intermediate level experience in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Energy industry relevant experience a plus

  • Experience using Marketing Automation platforms
