We are looking for a Digital Media Specialist to create and manage media material for various platforms such as the web, email, social media, and blogs for a client in Austin, Texas (contract-to-hire). The Digital Media Specialist will need to be able to analyze and adjust campaigns to ensure performance goals are achieved. Responsibilities also include the creation and execution of emails within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role will work with internal groups to ascertain communication and technical requirements to ensure client commitments are met. Ideally the candidate will live in Austin or Portland, Oregon but can be remote (candidates must live in Oregon, Washington, Texas or California or be willing to relocate to be considered).
Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement a strategy for integrated media campaigns.
Assisting marketing and creative teams to select the appropriate media for their projects across different media platforms.
Scheduling placement of content on digital media and email platforms.
Analyze and manage campaigns to achieve results
Create and deploy emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Making recommendations to improve brand's awareness using digital media channels such as Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook.
Stay up to date on and communicate content guidelines for digital media platforms.
Writing content for search engine optimization.
Ensuring brand consistency across all digital media campaigns.
Monitoring impact and return on investment of digital marketing campaigns.
Remaining up to date with the latest digital media trends and design technology available.
Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, or a related field.
2-4 experience in digital marketing.
Solid knowledge of digital ad best practices
Knowledge of web design and content management systems.
Advanced experience with web analytic tools such as Google Ads and Google Campaign Manager.
Familiarity with paid social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.
Current knowledge of or willingness to learn Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Knowledge of the latest media trends.
Basic budgeting skills to reconcile paid digital media placements with the available budget.
