Digital Media Specialist (mid-level, contract, remote)

We're in search of a skilled mid-level Digital Media Specialist for a full-time remote 5-6 month contract role with our client in the Portland area. In this role you will support all aspects of digital media planning, execution and reporting for clients. This role requires prior experience with building and executing effective advertising programs on multiple marketing platforms including search engines, DSPs, and social networks.

 Key Responsibilities

* Develops media planning, execution, and reporting for clients across all media channels and platforms.
* Acts as a key media planning/buying resource for the following digital media tactics: paid search, paid social media, digital display, and digital video/audio.
* Creating media schedules and plans that integrate and support overarching program/client goals with media goals.
* Monitor the media marketplace to stay abreast of trends, identify opportunities and emerging issues, and understand new technologies and consumer reaction.
* Develop media plans and strategies for internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in and support.
* Monitor media campaigns, implement optimizations for increased performance.
* Develop, track and report media success metrics.
* Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure media is aligned with the overall strategy.

Education and Experience

* Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing or Communications.
* 2 to 4 years of experience in digital media within strategy, research, planning, campaign management, analytics, and reporting.
* Strong proficiency in Google Ads platforms, including paid search, Gmail, programmatic display, and YouTube advertising.
* Proficiency in social media advertising platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, and Pinterest, etc.).
* Agency or media buying experience is preferred.
* Large scale B2C advertising experience in any industry is preferred.
