Product Owner (contract to hire + remote)

We are searching for a Product Owner with prior agency experience for a contract to hire role with a Portland-based agency working with their clients to design and develop digital products that make a postive impact on users and the world at large. In this role you will be responsible for producing technology solutions from concept to delivery that satisfy customer needs in alignment with overall strategy. 



  • Define and manage product roadmaps to realize business goals and strategies
  • Lead definition of the core product vision, goals, functionality, and requirements
  • Conduct user, competitive, and analogous research to find new sources of inspiration 
  • Capture, document, prioritize and groom feature backlogs, design, and maintain digital products with our team, identify and capture use cases, user flows, logic flows, and functional specifications
  • Lead client interactions during the discovery and product delivery phases
  • Build consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Collaborate with highly creative user experience experts, visual designers, and technologists to create amazing products and experiences for our clients and their users
  • Be the voice of the user and the client to our design and technology teams
  • Articulate the way forward to the client and provide clarity and confidence
  • Work closely with QA teams to identify, prioritize, and triage bugs and edge cases


  • Highly knowledgeable of macOS and iOS, strong working knowledge of iPadOS and the latest versions of Android
  • High degree of skill with Notion, Jira, Airtable, Figma, and Miro
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, product management or ownership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
