52 Limited is a digital staffing agency with an industry-leading focus on the creative + technology space. We exclusively place tech and creative talent in direct-hire, contract-to-hire, and contract roles with our clients in Portland, Seattle, Austin and San Francisco.

 

Our client is a craft saké producer and importer based in Forest Grove, Oregon with a marketing office located in Beaverton, Oregon. It produces Oregon craft saké under the Momokawa, Moonstone, and G brands; and imports fine Japanese sake under the Hakutsuru, Murai Family, Kasumi Tsuru, Kibo, and Yoshinogawa brands. Its products are distributed throughout key markets in North America, South America, and the Caribbean Islands.

 

The Digital Media and Marketing Coordinator works with the Director of Marketing to develop, execute and champion social media and marketing initiatives for out client and its import partners. Responsibilities include taking a lead role in social media, influencer coordination, content creation and digital marketing outreach (email marketing, blogging, etc.). Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to helping the development of outside events, consumer/trade promotions, product launches, sales support, website maintenance and e-commerce efforts.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive social media efforts to increase brand awareness and enhance product knowledge for our client and its import partners. 
  • Guide marketing and tasting room teams in all things social media. 
  • Create content across all social media platforms that entice engagement and build fan base. 
  • Build and cultivate social media influencers for all platforms. 
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and enhance brand position.
  • Take a lead role in the creation of blog page on our website. 
  • Keep up to date on digital strategies, especially in the alcohol beverage and craft industries.
  • Work with internal creative team to develop marketing and sales support materials.
  • Develop and maintain website calendar of events, promotions, product launches and tasting room happenings. 
  • Help coordinate in-kind local sponsorship donations. 
  • Maintain database of awards and accolades for company.
  • Help represent brands at trade and consumer events to increase company awareness and awareness for our brands. 
  • General support of any other marketing and sales initiatives. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, communications or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and digital marketing experience.
  • Experience using social media management platforms desired. (We use Sprout Social currently)
  • Experience with or knowledge of email marketing platforms a plus. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working promotional events. 
  • Strong writing skills required.
  • Knowledge of saké or strong desire to acquire saké knowledge and appreciation.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with the ability to create compelling, easy to understand, visually appealing presentations. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) desirable.
  • Experience working with and across multiple outside vendors/agencies.
  • Strong communication skills; articulate effectively both verbally and in written form. 
  • Exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Must manage time and prioritize tasks while being highly motivated with the ability to work independently. A results-oriented individual is needed.
  • Participate in department brainstorms and planning sessions and take an active role in the department.
