Contract Duration - 3 Months

Pay range: $30 to $35/hr on W2 contract basis. 

Our client's Portland office is seeking a marketing professional to join our tenured and team-oriented Northwest Pacific marketing group. The Marketing/Proposal Coordinator is a key position supporting the continued growth and strategic business development. 


The ideal candidate will have experience in the AEC industry or other professional services environment. This position will work with a variety of staff – engineers, planners, and technical experts – to support the marketing team with proposals, qualification packages, award submittals, resumes, project descriptions and data management. We are looking for an energetic, motivated candidate with strong people skills and excellent writing and communication skills to support our fast-paced workflow. 


This position will help support the marketing team through managing tracking systems, leading or supporting the proposal process and other as-needed duties.


The main responsibilities for this position include: 

* Lead and support proposal teams responding to RFPs, RFQs, awards submittals, roster applications, etc.

* Coordinate all proposal materials (graphics, text, forms and sub-consultant material) into a polished, client-ready package
* Develop marketing proposals and supporting materials; writing and editing of non-technical sections 
* Develop qualifications packages, resumes, project descriptions and other custom marketing materials
* Follow the firm’s high standards for quality in all marketing deliverables
* Assist in managing opportunity and pipeline database management, compliance procedures and administrative support


Qualifications

* Preferred 3+ years of experience in an engineering/architecture/construction industry environment, background in journalism, publishing or communications ideal
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* Database management experience preferred
* Excellent communication and coordination skills (both oral and written)
* Superior interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
* Ability to produce high-quality materials under deadline pressure
* Strong Adobe Creative Suite experience, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 
* Some travel may be necessary


This position will primarily focus in the Northwest Pacific region but may serve pursuits in the Western U.S. Position will be based out of the Portland office.
