Our client is hiring for a VP of E-Commerce & Marketing for an exciting fashion brand defined by its commitment to gender equality. We're seeking an entrepreneurial, data-driven leader and champion of digital direct-to-consumer strategy and growth. You are an analytical guru who understands how to build a great consumer brand. To be successful in this position, this person has to be able to create a clear, on-brand, digital strategy to deliver revenue growth targets, as well as roll up their sleeves and lead the team in the execution of that strategy. This role currently reports into the Chief Executive Officer and can operate remotely, provided a willingness to travel to Portland as needed.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for identifying current opportunities within the digital marketing and e-Commerce space in order to drive rapid growth.
* Bring a mindset of innovation and understanding of consumer behavior in the digital space to enhance the eCommerce ecosystem.
* Evaluate existing KPIs, historical analytics, and industry data to formulate a comprehensive operational plan to drive revenue, conversion, retention, AOV etc.
* Responsible for driving all customer acquisition and retention efforts (email, PPC, Paid Social, SEO and more), ensuring these deliver sales and budget goals.
* Drive an increase in customer value determined by analysis of CPA, LTV, attribution models, and cohort analysis.
* Lead the eCommerce customer experience, working with Marketing on development of digital content and assets, implementing digital community-building initiatives that can strengthen engagement, conversion, retention and loyalty.
* Responsible for driving traffic, conversion, and retention strategies and execution of day-to-day plans, continually working to optimize our digital storefront(s).
* Plan and lead the technical development agenda, directly leading development resource in order to optimize the .com experience to achieve targets.
* Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Retail, Wholesale, Finance, and Operations to ensure a cohesive GTM and customer brand experience.
* As part of the Leadership Team, bring a global perspective, passion, and governance to contribute to the overall strategy and culture of the company.
* Be a steward of your people, developing and guiding the E-Commerce team to achieve maximum experience and results.

Required Education and Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Marketing, Economics, and/or Business preferred, OR equivalent industry experience.

* 7+ years of experience in eCommerce, preferably in fashion, sport/outdoor, or consumer goods space.

* 5+ years of experience at a senior-level Digital Commerce, E-Commerce, and/or Digital Marketing position.

* Significant experience in digital marketing through core digital channels such as PPC, RTB, display, affiliates, email and paid social

* Strong understanding of process and metrics in digital retail planning, buying, budgeting, and merchandising.

* Mastery of the digital ecosystem and marketing ‘funnel’ to optimize traffic, acquisition, conversion and retention.

* Candidate should be proficient with CPA, LTV, attribution models, and cohort analysis.

* Leadership background with a passion for people development and team management.

* Excellent communication and influence skills.

* Strength as a player/coach, with a self-starter and “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude.
