We are searching for an Account Director to join our client, a creative + strategy agency based in the PNW. While in this position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, growing revenue within existing accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service. This account director will be specifically joining a team working on an account based in the pharmaceutical industry.

As the Account Director, you will:

— Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, products, and market landscape, and act as the primary client advocate to support project teams

— Build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels in the client's organization, including senior management, to facilitate long-term profitable growth 

— Participate in shaping digital marketing strategies and tactics that will be presented to the client for consideration

— Provide ongoing strategic and tactical advice to clients on various digital marketing and technology initiatives and continue to highlight the Client’s value in the digital marketing space

— Work with project managers to drive complex digital projects from both a strategic and business relationship perspective

— Lead client presentations and meetings for a variety of project- and account-related needs, including leading strategic or analytical discussions

— Assist clients with needs definition and the shaping of project details, and support the creation of various presentations and documentation

— Conduct ongoing account planning to ensure all opportunities and challenges within an assigned client are understood, solutions identified, and the account is being developed in a strategic and successful manner

To be considered for this position, we are looking for the following skills/experiences:

— 5+ years experience in a client-facing role at a digital marketing agency, or within a digital marketing role on the client/brand side. 4-year degree, preferably in marketing.

— In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, enterprise marketing technologies, internet technologies, search, and mobile best practices

— Demonstrable experience in relationship management or account management with close involvement in delivery of work and growing service offerings within an account. Experience navigating large and complex organizations is a plus.

— Experience supporting and executing multi-faceted marketing strategies within large organizations, or similar skill set

— Strong presentation/public speaking skills 

— Strong analytical abilities and the ability to carefully manage details while juggling multiple projects

— Ability to work with a diverse range of personalities, and build productive working relationships with teammates

Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical marketing, or technology marketing, and regulatory environments a plus

— Location: This role is based in the PNW (Washington + Oregon) and the team is remote

— Willingness and ability to travel 4-5x per year

— Salary: $95,000-$103,000, DOE
