[EOR] Sr Creative Lead (aka Art Director)

We are searching for a seasoned Sr. Creative Lead to join our client’s Global Sports Brand team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for strategy and storytelling as well as the ability and motivation to lead a team of creatives, production, and key members of the leadership team. This position is a remote contract role and candidates should apply if they are located in Oregon, Washington, California, or Texas.

As the Sr Creative Lead, you will: 


  • Utilize regional and global data to elevate consumer experiences through art and copy

  • Collaborate with global creative/regional creative/marketing/ops teams to ensure creative/marketing/ops alignment

  • Design with versatility and constantly seek new and innovative ways to elevate the customer experience.

  • Influence cross-functional teams on brand excellence and current/future design trends

  • Repeated examples of progressing towards mastering the fundamentals of our brand and a strong focus around those principles. Great output consistently.

  • Understanding of the full consumer journey and is focused on connecting all consumer touch points

  • Experience in working with external partners directly and is well versed in effectively communicating feedback, gaining alignment of cross-functional teammates + CDs, and steering partners towards brand right solutions

  • Understanding of and the ability to direct all aspects of creativity: copy, imagery, design, retail, video, and social content.

  • Proven presentation skills and a track record of successfully pitching in concepts to leadership.

  • The ability to dissect complex problems and provide solutions

  • Responsibility over Brand and Seasonal Creative, digital-first with contributions to Omni customer experience touch points (retail, email, social, comms, etc).

  • Collaboration with Global and In-Region Teams— aligning and evolving the DTC experience with a customer-centric mindset.


Who we’re searching for / About you:


  • A great collaborator who does not just take part in cross-functional projects but is vocal and understands how to lead/inspire & get the best out of their teammates.

  • Presentation/Communication skills

  • Thoughtful and considerate leadership skills

  • Command of the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Solid understanding of digital, and print design

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build relationships cross-functionally

  • Ability to have hard conversations to protect the brand.

  • BFA in graphic design, visual communications, or another relevant field

  • 8-10+ Years in a design role, preferably agency or in-house

  • 3+ years of experience leading projects independently or with a team
