Our client, a leader in the high-end automotive industry, is searching for a top-tier DevOps Manager. Within this role, you’ll be a part of the global digital development team working with both internal and external groups to identify and integrate technologies for future vehicle product lines. The ideal candidate will enjoy working to close the gap between fast paced, highly available cloud services and the multifaceted challenges of rolling, embedded platform. Our client works closely with embedded systems tools, silicon-to-pixel CI/CD toolchains, and higher-level languages to craft and build initial versions of production software that can be scaled out to other offices and external vendors for completion. Our client’s office is located in Portland, Oregon. This is a full-time direct hire placement and is 100% remote.
Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of software build, test, and automation infrastructure
Cultivate and manage working relationships with stakeholders across our client’s global business to define, prioritize, and execute a product roadmap
Manage and motivate a team to perform at their best, delivering against clearly defined requirements and expectations
Assist in the application of agile methodologies across teams locally and globally
Work with peers on the Portland management team to staff projects from multiple functions to ensure the best results, optimize resource utilization, and adoption and use of best practices
Drive adoption of infrastructure and tooling by development teams throughout our organization along with DevOps best practices
Foster a high performance, team-oriented culture by motivating, inspiring, and challenging colleagues to identify and implement high quality, innovative solutions and marginal gains
Who we’re searching for / About you:
5+ years of experience delivering and supporting developmental toolchains in a cloud-enabled environmentl; 2+ years in technical leadership, technical authority or technical management role
Cloud engineering knowledge with GCP, AWS, Azure, or other platforms
Working knowledge of Agile scrum methodologies, continuous integration and delivery at scale
Experience in infrastructure and configuration technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker or similar
Technical experience as a SW developer, preferably in build automation, highly available infrastructure, or other DevOps practice area
GitLab and Artifactory (jfrog) knowledge a distinct advantage
Knowledge of modelling tools such as Rhapsody desirable
Familiarity with ASIL, ISO26262 ASPICE, AutoSAR standards desirable
Working knowledge of QNX, Android and/or LINUX operating systems beneficial
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Salary / Pay range:
$135,000-$200,0000/ Year, depending on experience
