Account Manager

We are partnered with a Creative and Strategic Agency to help in their search for an Account Manager to join their team. The Account Manager is responsible for delivering high-quality service and coordinating activities throughout the lifecycle of projects within the agency. Working closely with project managers and account directors, you will play a key role in facilitating effective communication between internal project teams, client-side project stakeholders, and other outside agencies that have also partnered with the client.


The Account Manager’s primary areas of focus will be:

— Delivering projects that meet business objectives identified at the outset of a project

— Supporting clients in their day-to-day communication about the Agency’s projects within their organizations

— Ensuring project contributors have what they need to keep projects moving forward


Additional responsibilities can include: 

— Maintain an understanding of the client’s business, products, processes, and market landscape

— Build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels in the client's organization to facilitate efficient projects

— Participate in shaping project strategies and tactics that deliver desired results for a client

— Conduct ongoing account planning with agency account directors to ensure all opportunities and challenges within an assigned client are understood, solutions identified, and that the account is being serviced in a successful manner

— Keep up with technology trends such as mobile, and social, and participate in knowledge exchanges with peers


Who we’re searching for / About you:

— 3+ years experience in a client-facing role at a digital marketing agency, or within a digital marketing role on the client/brand side

— In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, Internet technologies, social media, and mobile

— Demonstrable experience in relationship management or account management with close involvement in the delivery of complex project work

— 4-year degree, preferably with a specialty in Marketing

— Ability to work with a diverse range of personalities, while juggling multiple projects all at once

— Ability to focus and work under pressure during tight deadlines with humor, tact, and professionalism

— Experience in pharmaceutical marketing and regulatory environments a plus

Salary range:

— $65,000 - $75,000/ Year DOE
